What will I see ?
All colours of Siamese - Seal, Blue, Chocolate and Lilac Points, Tabby Points, Red Points, Tortie Points and Cream Points plus Cinnamon, Caramel, Fawn and Apricot Points - and all colours and patterns of Orientals, plus Balinese (Longhaired Siamese), Oriental Longhairs and Oriental Bicolours. There is also a section for non-pedigree Household Pets.

These cats are all penned, with their litter trays and cosy white blankets, ready for the judges to examine them and make their decisions.

In addition to the cats in competition we have an exhibition section. Here the cats spend their day in decorated pens as they will not be judged in the serious competitive classes.

The climax to the show is the Best in Show judging. The day's top winners are judged against each other to find the Best in Show male and female Adult, Kitten and Neuter and finally the Best Exhibit in Show. These winners are then placed in specially decorated pens.

Can I buy a Kitten ?
You will not be able to buy a kitten at a show and take it home with you. This would be far too stressful for any kitten.

You will be able to talk to the breeders and exhibitors and learn about their cats. Many of exhibitors will have kittens at home or be expecting litters soon, so you will be able to discuss this with them and arrange to visit them.

Before buying your first pedigree kitten read the GCCF's advice on the subject.
